  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare the snake features by cutting olives for eyes and red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 12 strips.
  4. Roll each strip into a 12-inch rope, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around wooden chopsticks or metal straws in a spiral shape.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
  7. Place olive pieces on the heads for eyes and bake on parchment-lined sheets for about 11-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Insert red pepper tongues while still warm.
