  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain, reserving some cooking water.
  2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic. Add heavy cream and whole milk; stir until combined. Mix in cream cheese until smooth, then add Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses along with additional Cajun seasoning.
  4. Toss cooked penne into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Return steak tips to skillet; gently mix everything together.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
