  • 6 pieces Turkey Bacon (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 head cabbage (sliced and chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons stone ground mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add diced onion and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until translucent. Stir in minced garlic, stone ground mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the sliced cabbage on top of the sautéed mixture. Stir well and sauté for an additional 12 to 15 minutes until the cabbage is tender and caramelized.
  4. Return the crispy turkey bacon to the pan, toss everything together, then serve warm.
