  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 lemon wedge (for serving)
  • 1 cup cooked white rice (jasmine or basmati)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions, fluff with a fork, and keep warm.
  2. Pat the salmon dry, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes; flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant; spoon over the salmon.
  5. Serve salmon on a bed of rice, garnish with parsley, and add a lemon wedge for squeezing.
