  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 13 tsp milk, as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, mix canola oil, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While cooling, prepare the frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar.
