  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning or onion soup mix
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ cup crushed nacho cheese chips or crushed cheese crackers (for coating)
  • 1 bell pepper stem or pretzel rod (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, ranch seasoning (or onion soup mix), garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Scoop the mixture onto plastic wrap; shape into a rough ball using your hands. Wrap tightly and create grooves by using rubber bands around the wrapped ball.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight until firm.
  4. Unwrap the cheese ball and roll in crushed chips or nuts until fully coated.
  5. Insert a bell pepper stem or pretzel rod into the top for decoration.
  6. Garnish with parsley leaves if desired and serve with assorted crackers or fresh vegetables.
