  • 45 Bone-In Chicken Thighs
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 2 tbsps Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 1 Red Onion, sliced
  • 12 Honeycrisp Apples, sliced
  • 4 tbsps Salted Butter
  • 3/4 cup Apple Cider
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth or White Apple Vinegar
  • 2 tbsps Dijon Mustard
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Season chicken thighs with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, pepper, and rosemary.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown.
  4. Add sliced red onion and honeycrisp apples around the chicken.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and make the sauce by combining butter, apple cider, chicken broth (or vinegar), Dijon mustard, and minced garlic in the same skillet over medium heat until thickened.
