  • 150g beef strips or steak
  • green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes (with butter and milk)
  • sliced carrots
  • green beans
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • black sesame seeds or nutritional yeast (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add beef strips and green bell peppers. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and tender.
  2. Peel and chop potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender. Drain water and mash with butter and milk; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Steam sliced carrots and green beans until tender; add a pinch of salt and pepper for flavor.
  4. Serve creamy mashed potatoes topped with beef strips and peppers on a plate alongside steamed veggies. Garnish with black sesame seeds or nutritional yeast.
